the few bench were abit one sided..as its copy from intel themself n they are comparing a new gen to old gen laugh.gif

but nonetheless its impressive..lets see wat amd can come up to..

as u all can remember that last time the AMD 1 G can beat the P4 1.7 easily in gaming rite...AMD is far more cheaper than the p4 that time...

so now i think the Intel proc going to be cheaper than AMD and even powerful than it...
Current New intel proc oledi reduce it pipeline and they using quite similar idea with AMD...

Yes, it's true. K7 suppose to fight PIII and K8 suppose to fight P4. However, K7 is able to keep up until the release of 533MHz FSB P4, and i suppose K8 still can hold some ground for a few months b4 intel tweak the Conroe core again for better revision.

AM2 with DDR2 800.. but i don't think it can outperform Conroe. Most probably it will be a fair fight. FYI, Intel is already designing an architecture that is better than Conroe in Intel Penang now, kekeke.
