I'm newbie in here, been reading some of the posted thread from past week.
So I'm planing to make some changes to my old pc, here are the specs:
Acer Aspire EL
P4 1.5Ghz
i845 mobo, socket 423, FSB 400 Mhz
512SDRAM PC133- 128MB x 128MB x256MB Kingston
AGP x 4- Sapphire ATI Radeon 9250 128MB
HHD- Western Digital Caviar 80GB + 40 Maxtor
PSU 4 way cable- made in china ( cheap one) 400watt
As we all know that socket 423 P4 mobo is extinct (dinosour).
so I;m planning to change my CPU HSF. that if any one know where to get one.
and I'm planing to place 2 UV led Casing Fan for better airflow.
also I planing to to get 1GB of SDRAM (512x2)- Low yat/ Cycom still sell them I think.
Also planing to buy new PSU with higher capacity.
Some cable sleeve and perhap a new casing.
Perhaps some of the IT and Hardware expert can help me on my project.
And yeah if you suggest to get a new PC, I already have. This is just a new hobbies for me, coz I sayang nak buang pc lama I, the best part is it still work after all this time.
I would appreciate all the suggestion u all can give.
