just installed streamyx at home 2-3 weeks ago. but havn't seen it or hav chance to use it yet hahaha coz i'm not at home. gonna go back this weekend and test it out. want to download alot too yeyyy

hey, do you guys know which website allows us to test the actual connection speed of our streamyx?
pcmoddingmy
There are afew Speed Testing websites out there. But i noticed that testing on overseas servers would not give accurate results.

Try tmnet's own Speed Test

http://direct.tm.net.my/xpeedometer/xpeedometer.htm

Before that, try downloading NetMeter or DU Meter. It would show the ammount of bandwidth used. Very usuful tool to monitor your upload and download speed.

tmnet's bandwidth test: http://direct.tm.net.my/xpeedometer/xpeedometer.htm

this is more accurate than others coz the server is based in malaysia without adding additional latency when connecting to other countries.

another u can try: http://isp.testmy.net/

that model heats up very very fast

overheat and it disconnects itself repeatedly

the box is so huge!!!

some aztech are so good that it can even outlast its own power adapter

better get those models with no router function and get a separate router

they last longer and easier to replace.

i wish my dlinks come back now!!!
allenultra

my fren said that if u mod the connector of the phone line u will get more speed of ur connection....

connector phone situated outside house something box that phone line from "tiang" to ur house...

mod the inside connector from 1 outlet to 2 outlet means 1 for the phone other 1 for ur modem direct connection...this way u didn't use ur house wiring..

also if can use high quality cable for direct connect for modem...

by this way u can improve ur connection to more speed..
mè_ÐÚnÑó
