which one better in performences, 7600gt sli mode or 8600gt single mode?? since 8600 series arrived, 7600's price became much lower. so, i need advices to get the new vga for my budget.

if i were u.. i will rather opt for 8600GT.. DX10 is in the core man..
well if u still cn wait.. RD600 may suit u too..

As a previous bulker of the 8600GT.. Let me tell you one thing..
If you're looking at future performance on DX10, go for 8600GT/
If you only want raw DX10 performance and you're gonna change your card, say, maybe next year, save your money and grab a cheap 7600GT instead.

interestingly, MAYBE due to driver issues, the 7600GT outperforms the 8600GT in quite a few gaming benchmark, but it's totally not that case for 3dmark benchmarking.

Interestingly vr-zone posted that 8600GT pawns 7600GT that much in NFS Carbon. heh. My friend tried it and the difference is only within 5fps. Maybe difference in platform kut. *shrugs*

Sorry for the late reply. Prices pretty much hovers around RM500.
You can find some which is under RM500 as well, like Winfast and Colorful.
Well.. The distributor for Colorful didn't set a RRP for the distributor here.. so they're free to do whateevr they want...
